Course Description

Learn about a wide range of age- and developmental stage-specific trauma assessment and treatment approaches, ranging from standardized tests to expressive therapies. Discuss questions of diagnosis for children and the applicability of the DSM-IV-TR, as well as other specific age groups. Explore Evidenced-Based Practices, what works and what doesn't, and how we know. Special attention will be given to the vulnerable populations of children and older adults, and working with the system designed to help protect them. The format of this workshop includes lecture, discussion, and experiential hands-on learning.

This course runs from 8:30am to 4:00pm on consecutive Saturdays, 4/6/19 and 4/13/19.
