AC013 - Vision China

Course Description

This course is designed for advanced learners who have reached the upper intermediate level of Chinese and who are able to speak Chinese in daily use. Students will watch popular modern or classic audio-visual clips (including TV series, movies and short videos) to understand China from the perspectives of people with different background (e.g. Chinese citizens, international students in China and overseas Chinese). Students will learn the latest buzzwords, phrases and sentence patterns. The materials will focus on both social issues and individual stories. At the end of the course, students will be encouraged to conduct street interviews on topics of their own interests in Chinese.
