CPS-JPN-002 - Japanese Local Governance and Management Training Program (JaLoGoMa)

Course Description

The goal of this program is to inspire Japanese local government managers, legislators, NPO representatives, citizen activists and others to implement inclusive local community tactics and, to bring attention to the U.S.’s increasingly livable cities using Portland, Oregon’s urban development case studies as an example of citizen-centered governance. At the forefront of urban development, engaging directly with Portland’s community members, we aim to strengthen participants’ leadership and human resource skills to overcome any preconceived notions and discover new ideas.
