CPS-CUPSO - Consortium of University Public Service Organizations Conference

Course Description

Join your peers from university-based public service organizations around the country to exchange ideas to help you better serve your communities and states. Conference topics will focus on common challenges and opportunities related to institute and center operations, as well as on ideas for helping local, state and non-profit clients effectively address current policy issues. The emphasis will be on peer-to-peer interaction and sharing. There will also be plenty of time for networking and building the foundations for future collaboration.

Participants will:

• Connect with a national community of peers who have similar public service missions, while operating within an academic environment.

• Get practical and candid advice from those working on similar issues and in similar settings.

• Learn about new ideas that can energize their own programs.

• Explore opportunities to collaborate and share expertise.
