Course Description

Students in this course improve their abilities to influence others and, as a result, to more confidently lead change efforts and to handle difficult situations and conversations--crucial skills for executives and non-managers alike. Through critical thinking, along with a careful plan, design, and delivery, participants learn to better analyze their audiences and hone their influencing styles and strategies. Topics include: essential techniques and principles of persuasion, sequencing and presenting arguments, common negotiation challenges, and listening to get buy-in.
