Course Description

Standardized Work is one of the most powerful but least understood Lean tools. By developing and documenting the best practices to perform work, Standardized Work creates the foundation for training, Lean Daily Management, and continuous improvement.

Participants will learn the Lean concepts of the standardized work process, will be able to create standardized work for operations and sub-processes, and will learn how to implement a 5S System and Visual Controls. This is an engaging workshop using teamwork, simulations, hands-on exercises, and case studies to learn how to implement the tools.
