Course Description

“Is Lean viable for health care?” The answer is a resounding “yes.”  Fundamentals of Lean in Healthcare shows that when implemented in the right way Lean will greatly improve patient care, improve affordability, and reduce waste  – bringing maximum value to your patients and customers. This course spotlights the most important process-related principles of Lean and the strategies necessary to support them. It will demonstrate how Lean works through exercises and case studies.
