Course Description

As healthcare strives to adjust to ever changing regulations and expectations, knowledge of Lean and the tools of Lean can provide you with the ability to make the patient experience the best it can be.  Fundamentals of Lean in Healthcare highlights the most important process-related principles of Lean and the strategies necessary to support them. It will demonstrate how Lean works through exercises and case studies. Students will leave with a clear idea of how to get started or, if they have already begun, how to continue on their Lean journey.
